RTHM-16 Rotation Mount, part of motorized opto-mechanics, stages, and controllers, is a compact stage designed to rotate polarized optical components with diameters 1″ (25.4 mm).

Ultra-thin profile of the stage minimizes difficulties of polarizer integration in optical installations and systems with small gaps between elements. Motorized polarizer rotator has a low optical axis height relative to the mounting base.

Rotation is driven via a stepper motor equipped with a high ratio worm gear, providing a unidirectional repeatability of ±60 µrad and a maximum speed of 10 degrees/s. Matching controller is USB 2.0 and 3.0 compatible; a USB 2.0 cable is provided for compatibility with most computers. The mount is powered by the host PC via the USB cable, minimizing the number of cables needed during operation. In addition, the mount settings can be adjusted using the software, allowing the mount to be used without a PC.
